Abundant in antioxidants to slow the effects of environmental aging, this nutrient-rich formula is the nighttime solution for mature, sun-damaged, dry and dehydrated skin types.

Antioxidant-rich desert seed oils of organic jojoba and prickly pear seed restore and protect the skin’s delicate barrier, building the skin’s immunity and resiliency from environmental irritants. Prickly pear seed, specifically, has been clinically shown to reduce oxidative stress, slow down the aging process, reduce inflammation, and increase antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT, GPx) in skin cells (1).

Blackberry seed oil is a potent antioxidant. It’s rich profile of essential fatty acids (omega 3-6-9) protects and counteracts environmental assault to the skin, especially from sun exposure.

Carrot extracts are rich in antioxidants, particularly beta-carotene and pro-vitamin A, which promote skin rejuvenation, giving radiance and luminosity to the skin. Carrot extracts also prepare the skin for sun exposure and prolong the life of a tan.

Co-enzyme Q10 is another antioxidant that synergistically works wonders in this formula! Co-enzyme Q10 reduces oxidative stress, protects mitochondria, protects the skin from environmental stressors and prevents collagen degradation. “Particulate matter” in the environment have been shown to “turn off” our cell’s Nrf2 genome pathway, and co-enzyme Q10 neutralizes this effect, hence showing huge promise for its proactive (preventative) aging properties.
